Military Spouse Wins AAFES/WWE® Customized Mayhem Chopper

For most people, filling out an Enter to Win" form is fun, but few think their name will actually be called.

For Lisa Peirce, though, filling out the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES)/World Wrestling Entertainment® Chopper Sweepstakes entry form at the Hill AFB BX in Utah was her ticket to ride.

The contest, which ran from July 23 to Nov. 27, 2005, culminated when AAFES’ Deputy Commander Brig. Gen. James Lewis Kennon, along with WWE Divas Victoria™ and Maria™, drew Peirce’s winning entry for a fully customized 2005 Mayhem Chopper.

This is the second consecutive year AAFES has partnered with WWE for a customized motorcycle giveaway. The support from WWE is staggering," said AAFES Vice President of Marketing and Advertising Richard Sheff. Very few vendor partners are willing to send people into Southwest Asia in support of AAFES and Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom."

With the winning entry form in hand, Brig. Gen. Kennon called Peirce, wife of United States Air Force Retired MSgt. Frank Peirce, Jr., to notify her of her good fortune. After the initial shock wore off, Peirce was thrilled.

Your phone call brightened my day, my week, my Christmas and my New Year," said Peirce. Thank you so much."

The $20,000 custom-designed Mayhem chopper, built exclusively for AAFES and the WWE, will be delivered to Peirce by David Herrin, AAFES’ 2003/2004 Driver of the Year and WWE two time WWE Women’s Champion "Victoria" on Feb. 8. Herrin transported the bike to each of its scheduled destinations while on tour. Herrin, no stranger to the road, has driven at least 100,000 miles a year, without accident, during his 23 year AAFES career.
