Iraqis receive advanced medic training Blackanthem.com, KIRKUK, Iraq, May 8, 2005 Recently 11 select Iraqi army medics and seven emergency management services civilians underwent an eight-week advanced medic course taught by Task Force Liberty Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 116th Armor Regiment medical platoon in Kirkuk Province. The course provided a hands-on, realistic training experience that included written and practical exercise exams and culminated in a mass-casualty training exercise May 2 in Kirkuk.
