I am a former trooper of the HSB and B Battery's of the 319th FA from Ft.
Bragg. I served with the 319th from 1976 until 1980. I see that alot of
changes have come about since then. I am still proud to have been a part
of that unit and the 82nd Abn Div. I don't know if you all still use the
same unit crest or if you can even get one. I would like to get a hold of
one of the unit crest from that time era as I am making a plaque for my
grand-children. Is there anyway you can help? By the way, God Bless each
and every one of you and I hope you all make it back home to your families
and friends. You may contact me through this e-mail or write to me
directly at; SSG Rick Murray (DAV), 2942 Limaburg Road, Hebron, KY, 41048.
If there is anything else I may do, feel free to ask and I will see what I
can do. AIRBORNE!

I have read previously that FOB Rustamiyah really smells bad and has tons
of flies. There are huge garbage incinerators near there. Sorry
guys...looks like you drew the 'short straw' so to speak. Maybe things
have changed in '09.
