If you are still having a problem call 1-800-477-8227, they are there 24
hours a day 7 days a week and their option # 7 for assistance with your log
in.

I am unable to find the site location to activate logon ID, and use the
information sent to me in October 23rd letter. Is this process no longer

Like the other posts I have read, I too was mailed an activation code but

Experiencing the same problem as everyone else. My husband and I both
received those letters and neither of us can get to the website. What a
waste of time and money to send out all of these first class letters that
are useless to everyone that received it. Keep up the good work !!!!

I received letter from Department of Defense dated July 26, 2009 advising
me how to establish account with (DOD) Self-Service Logon. After several
attempts I am blocked from entering the website. Please provide me with

I use Firefox and I received the same warning.
You can add an exception in Firefox and then get the certificate and gain
access to the website.

I am having the same problem that these other individuals are experiencing,
"cannot find the select "Activate a DoD Self-Service Logon using the
information that was mailed to me." Please tell me what I am doing wrong?
In some cases, I tried to logon to a site and my anti-virus software is
telling me the site may be trying to trick you into giving information, so
they can access your personal data as a scam. I am sort of leery now and
need assistance. Thanks

FALLS CHURCH, Va. - The Department of Defense (DoD) family member account to access the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) has a new name and the Web site has a new look. It is now called "DS Logon." A DoD Self-Service Logon—or "DS Logon"—is a secure credential issued to uniformed service members, spouses, and other family members 18 and older who are eligible for benefits in the DEERS system. It allows access to secure DoD web applications.
