In response to the humorous email announcements, 'word of mouth' messages, and extensive Facebook postings, scores of Operation Gratitude supporters, family and friends signed in daily to express appreciation to our Military by voting and posting messages on the Target Wall. With 291,399 total votes cast, Target will donate a portion of $3 million to each of 10 charities based on their percentage of votes received. Throughout the two-week campaign, Bullseye Gives generated unprecedented participation and significant results for Operation Gratitude: 22,627 votes received = 7.8% of total vote= $232,948 Operation Gratitude Fans on Facebook increased from 472 on May 9 to 5,181 on May 26 1000%+ increase in Fans and Postings 2,323 Members also joined the Operation Gratitude Cause on Facebook 21,000 Care Packages will be sent as a result of your votes and Target's generous donation Our sincere thanks to Target for their generosity and creative vision in embracing the social networking world!
