Operation Gratitude wins $232,948!!

VAN NUYS, CA - Operation Gratitude will receive $232,948 from Target as part of the company's first-ever Bullseye Gives campaign on Facebook®.  From May 10 through May 25, Operation Gratitude's Facebook "fans", volunteers, donors and supporters joined forces to cast 22,627 votes, earning 7.8% of a $3 million charitable donation pledged by Target. Your votes  guarantee that 21,000 additional Care Packages will be sent to the brave men and women on the front lines!
 
In response to the humorous email announcements, 'word of mouth' messages, and extensive Facebook postings, scores of Operation Gratitude supporters, family and friends signed in daily to express appreciation to our Military by voting and posting messages on the Target Wall.
 
With 291,399 total votes cast, Target will donate a portion of $3 million to each of 10 charities based on their percentage of votes received. For the full list of Results, please log in to Target Bullseye Gives on Facebook.

Throughout the two-week campaign, Bullseye Gives generated unprecedented participation and significant results for Operation Gratitude:

22,627 votes received = 7.8% of total vote= $232,948

Operation Gratitude Fans on Facebook increased from 472 on May 9 to 5,181 on May 26

1000%+ increase in Fans and Postings

2,323 Members also joined the Operation Gratitude Cause on Facebook

21,000 Care Packages will be sent as a result of your votes and Target's generous donation
