CRANSTON, RI - On March 12th, 2009, the History Channel premiered a new series," Warriors", with SFC Terry Schappert as its host. SFC Terry Schappert is a member of the 19th Special Forces Group, Company A, Rhode Island National Guard.  The first show, "Warriors: Mayan Armageddon," aired on March 12th at 10pm/9C. SFC Schappert is the eyes and ears of the viewer as he travels the globe to discover exactly what it takes to be a warrior.

The show goes inside the culture of the most famous warriors of all time. Their weaponry, tactics and their psyche are explored and examined. Every episode tells the dramatic story of one of the world's iconic warrior groups such as the Vikings, Aztecs, Barbarians, and the Samurai. The program also includes descriptions of the rituals, technology and strategy that made them so mighty.
