| Sgt. 1st Class Joel Hernandez, a native of Aurora, Ill., works as the Transportation Noncommissioned officer in charge for the 553rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, salutes the U.S. colors as the "National Anthem" is played during the 553rd CSSB end of deployment awards ceremony. During this ceremony Hernandez received a Bronze Star Medal for his dedication and hard work during the 15-month deployment during Operation Iraqi Freedom. |
