WARNER ROBINS, GA - In a move to allow the general public to learn more about the U.S. Air Force, the Museum of Aviation will hold free-admission "Inside the Air Force" Presentations on July 31 and August 7.  The unclassified presentations will be made by U.S. Air Force personnel who are directly involved with current combat and support operations.

The following presentations will be held:

July 31, noon,  Eagle Building Art Gallery -- "Eyes in the Sky - JSTARS In Combat"  - 116th Air Control Wing crew members will present and explain how the amazing E-8C aircraft can gather and display detailed battlefield information on ground forces - day or night. The 116th ACW at Robins Air Force Base is the only Air Force unit that operates the E-8C aircraft and the Joint STARS mission.

August 7, noon, Hangar One - "Disarming Death - Bomb Robots in Action" -  U.S. Air Force Reserve Members who manage emergency ordinance disposal teams will demonstrate techniques and equipment for disarming explosive devises including a bomb disposal remote-controlled robot.

Reservations are not required, but attendees who would like a "flight lunch" to eat during the presentation are asked to place an order at least two days in advance with Stephanie Robinson at (478) 926-6870.  The lunch will include a sandwich, chips, canned drink and a cookie for $8.50.
