Fort Drum Range Branch to host weapons sighting opportunities during April

FORT DRUM, New York - Hunters and sportsmen across the Fort Drum area will have a chance to sight in their personal weapons over several weeks in April at the post's Range 21.
Rifles, muzzleloaders and handguns are allowed and a temporary skeet range will be available for shotguns. Participants must bring their own equipment and targets, including clay pigeons.
Those interested in firing a handgun at the range are required to bring valid New York state permits.
Range times are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27.
