Packages Arriving in time for Christmas

I received this letter today:

"Thank you Operation Gratitude for all that your members are doing for all of us military personnel deployed to the Middle East.  Your love and support is the strength that keeps us going from day to day.   With the holidays coming up soon, depression tends to creep in and bring us down because of being away from family and friends.  Your care packages have helped increase our morale 10 times over.  You don't know how much Operation Gratitude has lifted our spirits and I cannot put into words how much we appreciate everything that you all do for us.  God bless everybody that has a part in Operation Gratitude no matter how big or small the part. We love you all.  May all of you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.   SSgt F.V."

STILL NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

We have 10,000 additional packages all assembled and ready to mail, but we need your help to pay the shipping.  Postal rates will go up again in January to $9.80--our overall cost will be $11 per package.  Please help us now to ensure that we can send out all the remaining packages, put smiles on more service members' faces and "lift spirits and morale" during this Holiday season.

THANK YOU!

My deepest thanks to everyone who has supported Operation Gratitude this year--our donors, letter writers, recyclers, fundraisers, item collectors, and anyone who told anyone else about our mission!  Your efforts have made a difference, and we could not have sent more than 100,000 care packages in 2008 without you!

All my best wishes to you and your loved ones for a blessed holiday season and a joyous and healthy New Year.
