INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - The flight originally scheduled to arrive Thursday, Nov. 20 at 10:10 a.m. with approximately 75 Hoosier Citizen-Soldiers is now scheduled to arrive at about 9:15 p.m. with approximately 145 Soldiers with the 76th Infantry Brigade Combat Team that deployed to Iraq in March.

The Soldiers consist of members from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 151st Infantry Regiment, Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 1st Battalion, 152nd Infantry Regiment, Reconnaissance Surveillance and Target Acquisition; Task Force 113, Base Defense Operations and Company C, 1st Battalion, 151st Infantry.

After arriving at the Indianapolis International Airport the Soldiers will travel to Stout Field at 2002 S. Holt Road, Building 9 at around 9:45 p.m. where family and friends are expected to greet the returning Soldiers. 

During the deployment the HHC, 1-151 worked with government entities, privately owned enterprises, and schools, to improve infrastructure and overall quality of life for citizens of Tikrit, Owja, and Wynot. 

The HHT, 1-152, RSTA Soldiers played a vital roll in the security and tracking of soldiers participating in combat logistic patrols from the Multi-National Division - Baghdad area as well as providing an added layer of force protection and intelligence gathering capability for a large area in Bagdad.

Task Force 113, BDO was responsible for the security of the post pump house and water line that provided water to more than 6,000 personnel on post near Qayyarah Airfield West and supplied water for bottling nearby that was shipped to the Multi-National Division - North troops in northern Iraq.

Company C Soldiers supported the 17th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion at Contingency Operating Base Q-West and provided security for more than 200 patrols while travelling more than 255,000 miles.
