The Operation Gratitude
2009 Holiday Drive kicked into full gear over the weekend of October 24 &
25! With music blaring, the energy and enthusiam were high as
over 1500 volunteers assembled, labeled and shipped an amazing
16,000 packages in just 2 days!!
Special appearances by Matthew McConaughey,
NBA CHAMPIONSHIP LAKERS Shannon Brown and Josh Powell
and the LAKER Girls added to the weekend's
excitement!

We still
need your HELP to reach our goal of sending 60,000 Care Packages this Holiday
Season!
Here are some important ways you, your family, friends and
co-workers can get involved:
- BEANIE
BABIES, WEBKINZ, SCARVES
& LETTERS-
keep
our troops safe and warm
Collect
Beanie Babies / Webkinz for our troops to give to the Afghani and Iraqi
children; knit or crochet scarves for those cold nights on watch, and write
letters to boost morale.
- HELP PAY
POSTAGE - we need $660,000 to send
all the Holiday Packages this year
Every package costs $11 to send; donate online or send checks payable and
addressed to:

A meaningful holiday gift is a
"Tribute Donation" to Operation Gratitude in honor or memory of
your loved ones. We will send a beautiful tribute notice to the honoree, and
care packages to our troops. Check our "How You Can Help" page

cell phones too! Every phone can bring in up to $30.
And
