Blackanthem Military News BAGHDAD, Iraq - The 44th Iraqi Army arrested two individuals today in northeastern Baghdad while conducting a security operation to find and arrest a Promised Day Brigade (PDB) member.
Based on joint security team intelligence, 44th IA soldiers and U.S. advisors searched two buildings for the suspected PDB member, who is believed to be a leader for a Sadr City-based PDB terrorist cell. He was not located.
Preliminary questioning and evidence collected on the premises led to the arrest of two individuals suspected of engaging in criminal activity.
