Blackanthem Military News BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraqi Security Forces arrested two suspected terrorists today during a joint security operation conducted in western Mosul targeting a suspected al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) extortion-cell leader.
Acting upon a warrant issued by an Iraqi court, ISF and U.S. advisors searched a residential building for the suspected AQI extortion-cell leader wanted for targeting private citizens as well as oil companies within the area for extortion.
Based on preliminary questioning and evidence collected at the scene, ISF arrested two suspected criminal associates of the warranted individual.
