
ISF arrest four suspected AQI criminal associates in Mansuriyah

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraqi Security Forces arrested four suspected Al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) criminal associates during a joint security operation in Mansuriyah.
ISF and U.S. advisors searched several buildings for a suspected AQI member who is allegedly responsible for building and emplacing magnetically attached improvised explosives devices.
Information and evidence gathered at the scene led Iraqi forces to identify and arrest four AQI criminal associates.
All joint operations are pursuant to a warrant issued by an Iraqi judge.
Iraqi and U.S. advisors conduct joint operations in accordance with the Security Agreement and in coordination with the Iraqi government to target terrorists seeking to disrupt the security and stability of Iraq.
