Blackanthem Military News RAMADI, Iraq - Al Qaim Special Weapons and Tactics personnel, referred to locally as the IP Special Forces, with U.S. forces advisors, served a warrant for the arrest of a suspected weapons dealer and smuggler near Ramanah, Iraq, Sept. 18.
The Al Qaim Central Investigative Court issued a warrant for the suspect's alleged involvement in weapons smuggling, as well as his access to multiple weapons caches.
At the time of the arrest, Al Qaim SWAT found ammunition and several rocket motors on the property.
This successful operation by Iraq's security forces will disrupt the selling and purchasing of illegal weapons in and around Al Qaim.
