112th Signal Detachment Welcomes New Commander

HOMESTEAD ARB, FLORIDA - 112th Signal Detachment (Special Operations) (Airborne) assumption of command ceremony took place here, Jan. 8th. Capt. George Lindsey is the new commander of the 112th Sig. Det. (SO) (ABN) and hails from Houston, Texas.  Lindsey is a former infantry soldier and entered active duty in the Signal Corps branch after graduating from Sam Houston State University and receiving his commission through the ROTC program.

The 112th Sig. Det. (SO) (ABN) is based out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina and currently operates from Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida, supporting Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH) under the direction of U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).
