THOR Global Defense Group Addresses Piracy Concerns of Shipping Companies

THOR Begins Negotiations with Sixteen Freight Companies

Arkansas based security firm THOR Global Defense Group has begun talks today with at least 16 oceanic freight companies who have begun a search for an alternative for the high ransoms demanded in the influx pirate attacks of recent months. These attacks have severely hurt the industry and has caused insurance rates for shipping companies to increase dramatically. "The current direction we're heading with this has lead us to create a number of solutions for clients in need" states Roger Holland, Director of Security Operations at THOR Global Defense Group.

THOR representatives have stated they have heard eagerness in ship industry executives looking for a way to supply protection to their personnel, cargo and equipment. Military efforts have been made to subdue pirate attacks, but there has still been a need for additional security measures due to the overwhelming number of pirate vessels entering the seas, a number which has been growing exponentially.

"We're prepared to take any steps necessary to ensure the safety of our customers and their cargo." says Larry Knesek, "Our customers come first, and I plan to deliver total satisfaction to each and every one of them."

I'm glad to see a reputable company in the business. I've heard a lot of positive comments about THOR personnel.
