IJC Refutes Taliban Claim

KABUL, Afghanistan - ISAF personnel assisted their ANSF partners in the aftermath of an explosion outside the main gate at Camp Phoenix, Kabul late today.
The vehicle borne-IED struck a barrier next to the base along local Highway 7. There has been no indication of any fatalities associated with this incident, despite reported claims by the Taliban that 25 soldiers had been killed.
Reports confirm eight ISAF service members from the United States suffered minor injuries.
