Blackanthem Military News, YUSUFIYAH, Iraq -

Col. Michael Kershaw (left), commander of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) and native of Huffman, Texas, shakes the hand of Lt. Col. Michael Infanti, commander of the 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment "Polar Bears," and a native of Stafford, Va., after awarding him with two Purple Heart Medals during an awards ceremony in Yusufiyah, Iraq Jan. 22. Infanti was wounded from an improvised explosive device detonation on Sept. 28, 2006 and again on Nov. 26, 2006. Both IEDs struck Infanti%u2019s vehicle.
