Nine detained during raid

FORWARD OPERATING BASE KALSU, Iraq - Nine suspected criminals were detained after Coalition forces received a tip about the location of a weapons cache in Warij, Iraq, April 12.
The tip led Soldiers from Troop A, 6th Squadron, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, to a cache of two 107 mm rockets, two rocket-propelled grenades and 300 PKC machine gun rounds.
The nine suspects, who live in the vicinity of the property, were detained in connection to the cache. They were uncooperative and refused to answer questions.
The detainees were taken to Forward Operating Base Falcon for further questioning. The munitions were also taken to FOB Falcon.
