Blackanthem Military News, BAGHDAD, Iraq – An MNC-I Soldier was severely wounded by small arms fire at approximately 5 p.m. Thursday in Diwaniyah. The Soldier was evacuated for treatment at the Coalition hospital in Baghdad but later died of his wounds.
The name of the Soldier is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release from the Department of Defense.
