CIMIC Group visits school in Abtan village near Ad Diwaniyah

School supplies, rucksacks and toys are being given out at Abtan village near Ad Diwaniyah by Polish Soldiers of the Multinational Division Central South (MND-CS) Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) Group.
Blackanthem Military News, Abtan Village, Iraq – MND-CS Civil Military Cooperation Group visited school in Abtan village, 25 km west of Ad Diwaniyah.

Polish Soldiers handed over 200 rucksacks with various school supplies and equipment, about 300 bars of Polish chocolate, 300 toys and 60 soccer balls to the 200 students  who attend a school for boys and girls in the Abtan village.
   
“Thanks to the action of “Wielkopolska Province” for the Iraqi children, we have made the youngsters very happy,” said Edyta Gorlicka, coordinator of humanitarian aid of CIMIC group. “The children were very surprised by our unexpected visit. In each of their faces and gestures we could see happiness. This reaction of the Iraqi children was the best possible thanks for the CIMIC soldiers and personnel.”
